County marks the day of the girl child 

Shamim Silvia, 9 year old class three girl at Regina Child Development centre assumes the seat of the Homa Bay County assembly speaker during  celebration to mark the day of the girl child. MCAs at the assembly promised to table motions to promote the development of girls in the county. During the session several girls were taken to different government offices to assume the roles of departmental heads in an event organised by Plan International to mark the day of the girl child
